Kimberly Christie, sopranoSoprano Kimberly Christie is a versatile singer with credits of the operatic, oratorio and musical theater repertoire. She is based in Baltimore and has had the pleasure to perform with many regional companies including Opera Delaware, Lyric Opera Baltimore, Baltimore Concert Opera, Annapolis Chorale, Long Island Choral Society, Advent Project of VA, Bel Cantanti, Camp Hill Light Opera Experience and Kennett Square Symphony to name a few. Her most recent opera credits include Gianetta in Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore, Musetta in Puccini's La Boheme, Nella in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, and the title role in Gilbert & Sullivan's Patience. Kimberly served as the Artist-in-Residence for The Long Island Choral Society in the 2012-2013 season singing soprano soloist in the Vivaldi Gloria, Handel Messiah and Mozart Requiem. She returned to the LICS stage this past March to sing soprano soloist in Orff's masterpiece Carmina Burana. Other concert credits include soprano soloist in Bruckner Requiem, Mozart Vesperae solennes de confessores and Bach Magnificat. A skilled comedienne, her musical theater credits include roles such as Winnifred in Once Upon A Mattress and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls.
